Shot some stills for the new @levis_uk documentary on musicians directed by legend @jonboyep ✨✨✨ here’s some from the screen test set up. Go watch the documentary it’s so beautifully shot & so inspiring that after being on set for a week I bought a guitar lol 🤡

Charlotte in summer, after listening to me moan for however long about feeling uninspired lately she suggested we do a quick shoot in my room lol. Mix of medium format and Polaroids, can’t believe we’re still having to censor nipples in almost 2020 but whatever 🤡

If you know me you know I love Kathy Acker, and as I was reading her book “In Memoriam To Identity” over summer I read a quote in it and this image came up so vividly in my head. Tried to bring it to life yesterday with my favourite @honeykinny ❤️ this is the quote - “Venus walks in blood through every neighbourhood. She looks into her cunt. She spends most of her time in the homes of those who don’t have homes, or those who know the sharpest knife of loneliness. The women who live in this city are both strong and mad. The Church bells ring out for sex: for the loneliness of the absence of sex, for blood. For sexual repressions. For the people. Let Venus scream.”

Found this old photo from some roses in December 2015. I’ve been trying to read more recently and have found that I love Maggie Nelson’s writing so much. Even though I feel happier/more normal right now, this quote seems to sum up my last year a lot and the burn on the photo is how I feel about summer being over and having missed most of it
